HELPFILE ver 2.6.7- MAIN TOOLBAR OPERATIONS
The WEB feature lets you use the built in browsing functionality on your iPad to access a website, clip content and paste it into your screen image. As with other BOX operations, the website will be displayed in a BOX.
You can adjust the size of the website box, the magnification of the site in the BOX and position on screen prior to pasting.
An internet connection is required to use this feature.
Tap the WEB button (1) and the WEB TOOLBAR (2) appears, along with a WEB BOX (3).
Note that the WEB BOX can be resized by dragging the ARROWHEAD HANDLES (5) or moved by dragging the DOT HANDLES (4)
See note on "Pan and zoom" the map below, to adjust the magnification of the website and scrolling within the WEB BOX.
You can type in a URL address (1) and tap the GO button (2) and the website is retrieved in the WEB BOX.
Or you could tap the HOME button (3) to access a home location (specified in SETTINGS).
PRESET MAP BOX SIZES AND POSITION
When you have the section of the document you wish to use visible in the DOCS BOX, and the DOCS BOX has been sized and positioned accordingly, remember to PASTE the map to add it to your screen image by tapping the PASTE button (6).
Examples of selecting the MAP BOX PRESET SIZES.
Pan and zoom
Note that if you have tapped OUTSIDE the WEB BOX (or touched any screen area OUTSIDE the WEB BOX), the website is "frozen" in the WEB BOX and if you drag with your finger, you would be dragging the WEB BOX rather than scrolling the site in the WEB BOX. If you wish to restore scrolling, DOUBLE TAP IN the WEB BOX.
If you find that you are unable to pan or zoom as described here, you may have indadvertedly touched the screen outside the WEB BOX. This would have "frozen" the map. DOUBLE TAP INSIDE the WEB BOX to re-enable panning and zooming.
Remember to PASTE the contents of the WEB BOX to add it to your screen image by tapping the PASTE button.
